"This is a great little film, primarily due to the stunning visual design, utilizing wild, psychedelic sets that border on the surreal, and some excellent mythical creatures, like a unicorn and a "terrifying" wild boar. There's also two real ugly ogres that are genuinely creepy. The dubbing stinks, the songs grate and the story drags, but for the trip into the giant sunflower patch, its worth a look." (IMDB.com)
